iain pattinson, dies aged 68
The long time writer behind I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue, Iain Pattinson, has died after a short illness aged 68. You can read a full tribute to him on the Chortle web site, including many from people who have appeared on the show over the years.

During his career he won many awards for his writing, including three Sony Gold Awards, a British Comedy Award, a Broadcasting Press Guild Award, and a Viewers and Listeners Award. A lot of his introductions for Humph can be read in his book Lyttleton’s Britain.

Iain’s contributions to the show will be sorely missed. Rest in peace Iain.
