radio 4 tributes to humphrey
lyttelton
This coming Sunday, 15th June, there are a number of shows on Radio 4
in tribute to Humphrey Lyttelton. They are:
- 11.15am - Noon. Desert Island Discs. A repeat of Kirsty Young inviting Humphrey Lyttelton to choose his discs to take to a desert island.
- Noon - 12.57pm Chairman Humph: A Tribute. Stephen Fry presents a tribute to the host of I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue through the eyes of members of the show and distinguished admirers.
- 1.30pm - 2.00pm The King of Swingers. Humphrey Lyttelton profiles Louis Prima, one of the Jazz greats of the 20th century, but who is more widely known for voicing King Louie in Disney’s The Jungle Book.
